Apex-Cary, N.C - CreatiVisibility, a marketing and design firm in North Carolina, was awarded a Platinum designation in the recent 2016 MarCom international creative awards competition. The Platinum Award was given for brochure design for the NC Department of Transportation Division of Aviation Brochure: "Economic Impact of Airports in North Carolina 2016." MarCom Awards announced the winners in the 2016 creative competition for marketing and communication professionals this month from over 6000 entries worldwide. Judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.

"I am pleased that this brochure took the highest award in the brochure category” said Lisa Gullette, Owner and Creative Director of CreatiVisibility, "this is the second time in five years that a brochure we have done for this study has won a top award. I am most excited that the judges feel this work will benefit our clients through visual communications. Meeting my clients' goals are of utmost importance to me.”

"The Division of Aviation sees a lot of value in the study and brochure in communicating the impact of airports on their local community. Many citizens do not understand how their local, general aviation airport contributes to the tax base and the economy and this document helps explain that," stated Daniel J. Findley, PhD, project manager for the brochure and principle investigator on the economic impact study, "the brochure is great and was well received."

MarCom Awards is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), 22-year-old international organization. MarCom is one of the oldest, largest and most prestigious creative competitions in the world. As part of its mission, AMCP fosters and supports the efforts of creative professionals who contribute their unique talents to public service and community organizations. Over the past few years, AMCP has given over $200,000 in charitable contributions.
