Local Business Owner Appointed to NCAF&E Board of Directors

Apex-Cary, N.C - CreatiVisibility is pleased to announce the appointment of Lisa Gullette to the Board of Directors of the North Carolina Association of Festivals and Events (NCAF&E). NCAF&E is a non-profit organization serving as a forum for coordinators, volunteers, and vendors of festivals and events throughout North Carolina. The Board of Directors is responsible for the planning and marketing of Association events, such the annual ShowFest conference and tradeshow and a summer/fall seminar. These events are for the education, idea sharing and networking of association members. As well, select board members vote on the best marketing of member events and presents awards at the annual conference. The board of directors also annually reviews applications and selects a recipient of the Kay K. Saintsing Memorial Scholarship, which honors the late founder of NCAF&E. The NCAF&E is a certifying body for professional members who chose to become certified event planners.

NCAF&E, along with the South Carolina Festival and Event Association, recently coordinated the 2011 Carolina ShowFest Conference in Greenville, South Carolina where more than 200 planners and vendors participated in workshops and interacted with tradeshow vendors.

“I’m thrilled to be chosen to serve on the board,” said Ms. Gullette. “I look forward to contributing to the success of the Association’s events during my two year term.” Ms. Gullette is Owner and Creative Director of CreatiVisibility and has been a supporting member of NCAF&E since 2008 and has attended the Showfest conference for the past 4 years.
